Jake Magee, Portfolio Manager at Goodreid Investment Counsel, has been helping clients from all different backgrounds better manage their finances over the last ten years. Jake began his career working for a leading Canadian financial institution in 2010 as a personal banking associate where he educated clients on the bank’s products and services. Subsequently, he joined the bank’s brokerage and became an Investment Specialist focusing on helping affluent clients better manage their portfolios to meet their long-term financial goals. Most recently, Jake managed the bank’s Investment Centre where he was responsible for managing a team with a focus on digital investing, portfolio management and investor education.
Jake received a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from Ryerson University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
